Antibes is in the middle of the Cote d'Azur and is an ideal location to visit the surroundings and appreciate the villages and the light that has attracted famous painters (Picasso, Matisse, Chagall).
It is the best place to stay for those wishing to spend a day (or more...) in the famous Marineland (unique park in Europe) : to discover the world of the sea and to meet with the dolphins, the killer whales, the sharks, to appreciate all kinds of show...

Cannes is well known for its film festival (in May) but offers an old town, a beautiful shoreline promenade, many shops and restaurants.
Nice is a bigger town with fascinating museums (Matisse, Chagall...), an old district with a gorgeous flower market, and offers you some of the best shops for provencal food products.
The train trip from Antibes to Monaco and Italy get through places such as Villefranche-sur-Mer and Cap Ferrat.
Journeys to St.Paul-de-Vence (art's village in the mountains), Grasse (center of the French parfum industry) are also very pleasant and known as a "must" during the holidays.
